It has a broad spectrum of antimicrobial\nactivity with efficacy against bacteria, microbacteria, fungi, protozoa and\nviruses How does it work? The Povidone Iodine molecule has a broad spectrum\nantimicrobial action and has been proven to be effective against\nMRSA3-5.INADINE minimises adherence to the wound bed, therefore reducing the\nrisk of damage to the granulation tissue at dressing removal, and in clinical\npractice has been shown to reduce pain for patients.As PVP-I is released from\nINADINE the dressing will change colour from orange to white. The colour\nchange provides an indicator of how frequently dressings should be changed\npreventing unnecessary dressing changes, when compared to other dressings.\nThis could improve cost effectiveness in treatment.
