The Povidone Iodine molecule has a\nbroad spectrum antimicrobial action and has been proven to be effective\nagainst MRSA3-5.INADINE minimises adherence to the wound bed, therefore\nreducing the risk of damage to the granulation tissue at dressing removal, and\nin clinical practice has been shown to reduce pain for patients.As PVP-I is\nreleased from INADINE the dressing will change colour from orange to white.\nThe colour change provides an indicator of how frequently dressings should be\nchanged preventing unnecessary dressing changes, when compared to other\ndressings. This could improve cost effectiveness in treatment.
