The Brighton Beard\nCo. was founded in 2013 by couple Lloyd and Jessica, who wanted to create a\ndistinctive beard-care range that championed both style and nourishment for\nthe urban beardsman. Lloyd had grown a beard and realised he needed to find\nsome kind of beast control, before his boss’ “shave it” taunts got the better\nof him. However, there were no products on the market that really grabbed his\nattention. So his beau, Jessica, who had been struggling to find employment\nyet wanted to put her time into something both creative and productive (whilst\nalso partial to a fluffy face) Together, they created The Brighton Beard Co.;\nand the rest as they say, is history. And Lloyd’s beard lived happily ever\nafter. Inspired by our surroundings of the scenic South Coast of England, we\nlooked to the beards of the sea as our muse. And so, each our products are\nnamed after local and lawless smugglers, moonshiners and best loved villains\nfrom around the East Sussex area. Each with their own anecdote based on true\nstories, mostly consisting of a whole lot of mischief and misfortune, we like\nto imagine these sea scoundrels to have wild, gnarly beards.
