Sanitise probe if required by wiping with\ncold water sterilising solution, 70% Isopropyl alcohol or similar method.Store\nout of reach of children, in a cool dry place away from sunlight and direct\nheat sources.Always consult your doctor concerning raised temperatures and any\nother worrying symptoms. It may be a good idea to establish and record your\nusual temperature regularly when not ill.Whilst Individuals may vary, normal\ntemperature is considered to be 37ºC. However, body temperature can vary from\n36ºC up to the normal level.A mild rise in temperature would be to about\n37.8ºC and you should consult your doctor if your temperature remains at this\nfor more than 24 hours or if your temperature rises to 38.6ºC.Respiratory air\nmay affect the accuracy of measurement. You are recommended to close the mouth\nfor about 1minute to let temperature in the mouth become steady.This\nthermometer can measure the temperature between 32°C and 44°C. Accuracy is ±\n0.1ºC between 35.5°C– 42°C and ± 0.2°C for the remainder of the range.\nDirectionsThe unit is switched on and off with the button alongside the\ndisplay window. The start-up screen will appear on the LCD display and a beep\nwill be heard.Upon releasing the on-off button, the last measured temperature\nwill be shown for about 2 seconds. If “Lo” appears, it means the room\ntemperature is below 32°C. “Hi” will be displayed if the room temperature is\ngreater than 44°C. If the room temperature is greater than 32°C, it will be\ndisplayed rather than Lo °C. If the thermometer displays over 35°C dip the\nthermometer tip in cold water for approximately 5 seconds prior tomeasuring\nyour temperature. The °C symbol will flash when the thermometer is ready for\nuse. Place the tip under the tongue and close the mouth. Wait for 1 minute or\nuntil you hear bleeping tones.
